SQL: PROBLEM TO CONNECTION

Hello friends,

I’m doing a system where the arduino writes directly to Mysql database , I am using xampp tool, 3306 , User root and no password , but arduino is only accusing the connection fails, someone could help me with this problem ?

Under the code:

#include < SPI.h >
#include < Ethernet.h >
#include < sha1.h >
#include < stdlib.h >
#include < mysql.h >

mac_addr byte = { 0xDE , 0xAD , 0xBE , 0xEF , 0xFE , 0xED } ;
IPAddress SERVER_ADDR ( 192, 168, 1, 10 ) ; // Supply the IP of the MySQL server * * here

char user = " root" ;
char password = “”;

Connector my_conn ;

void setup () {
Serial.begin ( 115200 ) ;
while ( Serial !) ;

Ethernet.begin ( mac_addr ) ;

delay ( 1000) ;
Serial.println ( “Connecting …”);
if ( my_conn.mysql_connect ( SERVER_ADDR , 3306 , user , password ) ) {
delay ( 1000) ;
}
else
Serial.println ( " Connection failed. " ) ;

}

void loop () {
}

It is orders of magnitude simpler to write a PHP script that reads the data and deals with storing it in the database.

I would like to use the mysql connector library to have nothing in the middle interfering

Well, OK. Good luck.
