SSD1306Ascii ? What's up with the flickering?

Using this library as an alternative to the standard to save some memory. I've played around with frquencies but still find it flickers, which is very annoying. Is this due to some sort of sacrifice to improve impact to memory or am i doing something wrong?

If I use ADAFruit the display is crystal clear and solid as a rock. What gives? >:( :frowning:

Quite likely, but your secret code yields very few clues as to what. It may have a bit to do with playing around with frequencies. I don't recall any flicker with the following.
