I have been running with the proposed changes fine but now it starts failing.
Not sure what is going on but it looks like avahi stops working on the yun.
Then I reboot the yun (which does a reset-mcu first) and the bright white led does not start to shine.
I unpower and repower and it works fine.
Not sure why Avahi stops working but I'm sure it is related because as soon as the yun is working I open a ssh shell using fqn (like Marvin.local) to it (that is just the way I work)
This shell is active and remains active.
At a certain point in time my browser doesn't update anymore or I can't upload anymore. So I ping to Marvin.local and no dns resolution.
The ssh shell is still responsive (though slow but responsive).
Avahi is still in the running processes but apparently no longer works.
Thoughts are welcome.

PS I like the uboot fix but I fear it will take some time for a official release to mature.
