[image] dkanday: but after that the code never starts running again and the serial monitor is blank. Did you try restarting the serial monitor? I suppose the monitor will not establish the USB connection automatically after it has been lost.

Some terminal programs will reconnect. Under Windows, TeraTerm is the one I'm aware of.
