I just wanted to say, I used the digital POT method in my Pioneer DMH-WT8600NEX and it worked great! I was wondering if anyone ever found the resistance needed for Play/Pause? I haven't hooked up the "ring" and was wondering if maybe they were in there? Did anyone find more values?
I haven't tried the ring triggers yet, that is next on my list.
With lots of trial and error I finally have functioning code and bread board install that is working 100%. I will do a full write up soon but here is the code.
I have used AceButton so I can write double-click and long-press events, maximising the number of functions I can call with the number of buttons I have. With 4 buttons I now have 8 functions I can call.
