Friend just sent me this. Don't know if it's been posted here before. [![]( " - YouTube") ](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zlfsBlcH4ao) Think something like this has ever been done with Arduino? Or could be? Just late and I'm rambling. Don't mind me. ---

Yes, it's been done with an Arduino: [http://www.arduino.cc/cgi-bin/yabb2/YaBB.pl?num=1245643190/2](http://www.arduino.cc/cgi-bin/yabb2/YaBB.pl?num=1245643190/2). Although purists might argue that it's "cheating" to use an external stepper controller that does a lot of the work, the polyphonic results beat the (bleep) out of that simple example that's really just doing the rhythm, not the melody. The forum search for "mario theme" also turned up a posting from someone who'd done it using a speaker: [http://www.arduino.cc/cgi-bin/yabb2/YaBB.pl?num=1253920105](http://www.arduino.cc/cgi-bin/yabb2/YaBB.pl?num=1253920105). There's no video link in that one, but it's something that can be more-easily reproduced at home. ---
