I'm new to using arduino to control motors (have some experience with sensor input/lcd interface) and I'm trying to make a stepper motor return to zero automatically. I Would like to use it on a homemade bulldozer for the forward/reverse and steering thru a joystick. I Don't have any servos but I've got several steppers I'd like to use. Any help with this would be great. Thanks
end switch. just reverse until you open /close the switch
Keep a count of how many steps forward it has taken. Reverse for that number of steps. Motor is then at its zero position, assuming no loss of power to the Arduino in the meantime.
Hi, What do you want the stepper motors to do? Operate the controls?
Have you seen stepper motor basics ?
