Stepper motor Box Connector advice

Hello,

I'm working on a project making a box that will have an arduino with stepper motor drivers in it. It's going to be similar in size to a guitar pedal. I'm trying to figure out the most effective plug to connect stepper motor drivers to the box. Something really simple and clean. I'm wondering if soldering a midi cable as a connection device would work, but I'm new to stepper motors and not sure if that plug type will cause problems. Here is the motor I'm using. If not any other suggestions

Also on another note I'm looking for clamps or mounts that would work with this motor type. Any suggestions? I'm looking to put it on an adjustable metal guide so it can be repositioned but held in tight while running.

Thanks!

Anything will work; there shouldn't be any issues with interference to worry about with a stepper. At .33A you could use modular plugs (ethernet or phone cables) if that would be convenient.

You're not very clear on how you're trying to mount this motor (or to what). It's a "NEMA 17" motor size, however, and that might give you some leads with Google.

Thanks for the feedback!

I'm basically looking for something like but, where I can bolt it down rather then allow it to slide. NEMA 17 Stepper Mount by ElectronicKit - Thingiverse

Thanks!
