I'm not sure you've understood the exact nature of the problem because I'm not sure how an array would work and what it does?
But to be clear, reel 1 - position 7 could be a lemon, reel 2 - position 14 could be a lemon, reel 3 position 21 could be a lemon.
So if reel1 = pos7 & reel2 =pos14 & reel3 = pos21 then pay 4 coins.
So I would need some sort of win table where;
7 14 21 = 4 coins (lemons)
2 6 5 = 2 coins (plums)
8 14 19 = 4 coins (bells)
1 3 15 = 6 coins (grapes)
The problem does seem quite simple now actually, the more I think about it. Is an array definitely the way to go?
