STM8S003F3P6TR for driving an LCD

I will be using STM8S as the microcontroller to read the input of a reed switch and then displaying the data to an LCD. My question is can I use Arduino IDE in programming the said microcontroller?

Thank you for the reply, much appreciated but I have change my mcu and will not be using STM anymore.
