Hello!
I have a midi controler (Novation impulse) plugged and powered by usb (type b on the novation side) controling my synths in ableton live (on a mac). Now I've read about wireless midi projects (which are if I read correctly about building a midi controler) with teensy (or something else) coupled with xbee. Now I don't need a midi controler because the programming is already made in the novation controler. What I need to do is simply send the data wirelessly to my mac (a full duplex wireless usb) but with a stronger signal and longer range then 10 meters. Beeing on the scene doing shows, there are a lot of interferences (cell phones, iphones, wifi amplifiers, wireless mic, wireless guitar, lights, etc. But I really need to get rid of my cable because I have a spinning keyboard stand (see picture here https://www.dropbox.com/s/m090c5wopsoi3 ... 1893_n.jpg ) so the cable is really annoying.
Now a usb type b cable has 4 connections (Vbus, D-, D+ and ground) like any usb I suppose.
My question : would it be possible to simply plug the D- from my controler to the D+ of an Xbee using a Xbee explorer board (and vice versa) ? Or another solution ?
Thank you very much for your time.
Steeve.
