I know this has probably been asked 1000 times, and why I can't find any information about it is truly baffling. I need to stop Windows from adding a new comm port every time I hook up a new Arduino. I'm at com port #28 now, and 25 new Arduinos just arrived. I used to be able to do this with Zigbees, but I can't get it to work with Arduinos, and now I've read Arduino has it's own VID. I just tried ignoring it in the registry, but now I have another new comm port.
Help?!?!?!
