Strain gauge

I know this has been discussed at the old forum, however for me the info there was a bit unclear..

I want to measure line force and have been thinking about modifying this one> http://www.dealextreme.com/p/1-5-lcd-double-precision-portable-digital-electronic-weighting-hook-scale-45kg-max-35716

So I need to figure out which wires belongs where on the Weatstone bridge. Then i have heard its to possible way to hook it up to the arduino:
1 Measuring current that goes through it.
2 Hook it up to an opamp and read it in through one of the analog ports

The problem is that I don\t know what external circuit to get, and I don't have a soldering iron where I am right now so it would be preferable to get a shield with screw terminals.

Anyone have links to where I can get the necessary accessories?

Kim

You might be able to use the original circuit for amplification but you need soldering iron and multimeter. Have you purchased the scale? If yes, upload some pictures of its circuit.

"Units available: kg, lb, oz, JIN"

Awesome!

Its ordered, I guess I will have it in a week or so, then I will disassemble it and post photos..

What about this one instead of soldering my own opamp?
