Strain gauges in wheatstone arrangement

I have 4 strain gauges in a wheatstone arrangement on a steel bar, and an amplifier to use with it (http://www.farnell.com/datasheets/80126.pdf). However, I am not too sure on how to wire the circuit in order to read the varying values properly. This arrangement has been done before with the same amplifier, but a digital weight load (4 gauges) instead of the bar - http://cerulean.dk/words/wp-content/handsketch.jpg

Any advice?

Sounds like the same circuit arrangement should work - the gain (and offset?) is probably going to need to be different - any more info on the strain guages and the output voltages you'd like to see at various strain values?
