strange RTC module (DS1307)

Hi,

I spent 2 days with this strange module, hope someone could answer it.

I bought DS1307 RTC module for Arduino/Rpi from local supplier. And I tm sried to set it up but failed. What I think so suspicious is it seems doesn't have realy DS1307 chip. I see many modules from internet but mine is kinda peculiar, it misses one chip.

It has one chip which is ATHYC532, as I know it is EEPROM. But I don't see any DS series chip. As attachment image, it originally missed something. I thought original board was designed with two ports to control, but maybe one port still would works. (I thought the other chip was ds1307) I wonder anyone knows this case. And if could confirm it has problem I wouldn't need to waste more time. Thanks..

Agreed, it is missing something. Take it back to the dealer.

have no idea how it is usual. Just unhappy after messed up with everything for two days...:cry:

The card lacks just the DS1307 chip. Horrible no quality control at the factory, nor testing. Claim to replace it.
