Suggestion needed for 1.3mm object detection sensor

Hi there. Im seeking advise for my project. My project title is MB Detection on the unit. A unit will be having 2 MB and size of MB is 1.3mm. The distance between MB1 to MB2 typically around 18mm. Basically, the unit will be placed on a slide rail for inspection. The velocity of the slide rail is 0.21m/s. The material of the MB is non ferrous metal. I have dig ChatGPT for sensor solution but I couldnt find the compatible sensor for my project. Can anyone help me on this? Any sensor suggestion? Thanks

Thanks for your reply. Btw, im sorry for the insufficient information. MB is marker band. Marker band used in medical devices to enhance visibility and positioning during procedures. Im working at one of medical manufacturing company, so I planned to do a project on this.
