suggestions for design needed

hi i am making my own cnc and very exited. doing a lot of research on internet for every thing, some questions i cannot find answers . anyhow i have made up my mind on a few things and need to select remaining

1- will use steel rails and home made guidance system using roller skate bearings. dont want to use high end parts on first attempt

2- 800mm x 800mm working area.. i will buy 900mm lead screw (8mm dia 2mm pitch) with brass nut. i think it will give 800mm displacemnt on x and y axis

3- for z axis i will buy whole guidance system. its better this way. it will be 110 to 150 mm stroke, using 8mm lead screw 2mm pitch and brass nut

4- buying 3 axis cnc kit nema 23 motors 3A 270 oz-in steper motors. Driver boards will be 3.5A.

5- 500W DC spindle motor, 12000rpm max

6- it will be used for mostly wood working, hard or soft wood, plywood plastic etc.. if possible metal engraving too

Based on this information can you suggest me to continue, i dont want super fast machine. decent speed will be nice to have though. will it work. please suggest any thing on basis of ur experiences

also i have issues with frequent power outages. for that i have come up with this solution

will keep a car battery as backup for spindle. spindle will switch to battery in case of power loss.. stepper motors will go off in power outage but spindle will keep spining for say 10 sec to protect tool breaking. will use timing relay for this purpose,, any suggestion will be welcomed

@Ehtisham-syed, this seems to be your 3rd or 4th Thread on what is essentially the same project. It will be much easier to give help if you stick with one Thread for a project so that all the info is in one place. And it avoids getting conflicting advice and it avoids wasting time providing the same answer in different places.
