For the past 3 months, I have been scouring amazon looking for a 940 nm Near Infrared light that is much more directional and powerful than a standard 5mm LED in a TV remote. This is for a sort of beacon tracker. Something like a laser tag gun laser would be best. Any help would be really appreciated.

You just need a lens and a black tube. near-IR works with standard lens materials - perhaps something like this
could be adapted https://www.linear-tools.com/product-category/magnifiers/magnifiers-folding-pocket-magnifier/ - mount the lens part on a tube made of black cardboard even?
