Suggestions wanted on a simple 5V off delay timer

I have a NC limit switch that when triggered I want to have simply connect to ground and then disconnect. It's just needs to trigger a file to play. So the time can be very momentary. my only idea so far is using a 555 timer circuit. I've never used that IC before but there are enough tutorials online that I can figure it out. But I want something simple and cheap that I don't have to build.

Maybe a google search for NE555 module

Add a relay board and you're done.
