Hi I run my coding to run a DC motor using pwm value. A PSU with 12V 5A ia connected to a motor driver and arduino. The problem is, with 20AWG wire (connected from the driver to DC motor) the motor only can run with pwm value 20-110. for pwm value127-225 the 20 AWG cannot run the motor ( it hiccups with the power supply turning off and on automatically). I tried changing the wire to 18AWG, the motor can run with pwm value 127-225, but the wire burn if I try to run below 127. I dont know how to aolve this issue?
Please post your code plus a circuit diagram and give details of the motor and driver you are using (links to datasheets would be ideal). We're not very good at guessing.
As described your symptoms make very little sense, but if you are really managing to burn 18AWG wire then there is a lot more than 5A flowing and your wiring is very wrong.

Sounds like you're overloading your PSU.
Draw a schematic. Pencil and paper only.
Usually that will show you the problem. If it doesn't, photograph or scan the schematic and post it here.
