I've always thought that summer is the most favourable period for vacation. And it's terrible that half the summer we have to study and do homework.
When I was in College, studying electronics, I used to split my spare time in the summer hols between doing fun outside stuff (climbing, walking and kayaking) and I also spent a lot of time in my shed playing with electronics stuff, because I enjoyed that too.
