I have a tilt sensing comapas and a GPS unit and an Uno.
The unit go on a caravan and automatically track the sun when stationary.
I am wondering the unit wether or not fuzzy logic is the way to go.
Since you will now your exact location and tilt and also magnetic north, from a few readings of the sun's position it would be possible to ascertain the real direction you are facing and then track the sun morning to night without error day in and day out until you move, at which point you would use fuzzy logic to determine your direction….
What do people think ?
The sun rises in the east and sets in the west, but exactly where depends on the time of year and your latitude.
It is not clear from your post exactly what you are trying to do.
Are you trying to make a system that will track the sun or do you already have a system that tracks the sun and are trying to work out exactly what way you are facing?
Does your system know the date and time?
Why do you think you need fuzzy logic?
