Super bike security system

wvmarle:
So you want to park your bike in a public area with lots of shoppers walking around and so, then put up security cameras recording the general public and proximity sensors around it that go off the moment a passer-by happens to walk by.

Sounds like a great idea to me.

Never said there were lots of shoppers, I'm not in a city.

I also said it was going to simply warn on proximity using speech, not go full alarm.
If I put my bike away from main entrances it won't often go off accidentally.

Also don't want to use the camera for recording, that's just a useless waste of energy. Just for sending picture texts.

I was thinking the same. Rather than cameras and proximity sensors perhaps what is needed is an immobiliser, a motion sensor and a tracker?

Like I said, my biggest problem is not the bike, it's the cargo. There's no practical way for me to lock the cargo considering its shape and size and how it fits on the bike/trailer.
