Super Maximum Board

Hello!

I've been thinking about making an arduino compitable monster, if it's not done already. Monster being more powerful. More I/Os more EPROM, EEPROM and SRAM.

I have the ATmega128 in mind (unless there is something even more porweful)

But: how do I implement the ATmega128 functions and additional I/Os to the Arduino IDE. (I'm a high-level programmer, but if I have to learn Assembly language, that's not stopping me)

If someone could point me in the right direction, I would be thrilled!

There are some things in the works, but nothing w/ the ATmega128.

You should check out the code in hardware/cores/arduino. That and the ATmega128 datasheet should get you started. Also check out the Wiring source code - it’s based on the ATmega128.

There is no need to touch assembly. :) Its all mainly just lookup tables.

erm there might be some rumblings occurring with the 1280

I certainly hope so :-?
