Super Simple Code Problem-Please answer I am New-

Hello to everyone! I am new in coding and i bought an Arduino Leonardo for a RFID lock. I got a sketch from internet and it's for uno and i want to use it. I have just one problem: The RST from the RC522 connects to pin 9 on UNO and it goes to RESET/ICSP-5 on Leonardo. So for Uno it's preety simple:

define RST_PIN 9

But for Leonardo it does not work, i tried :

define RST_PIN ICSP-5

define RST_PIN RESET

What should i do? How should i define that RESET/ICSP-5 pin?

You will need to post a link to the RC522, so we can understand why the RST pin connects where it does.

The pin configuration on the Leonardo is very similar to that of the Uno.

Here is the link: http://playground.arduino.cc/Learning/MFRC522

would that help?

I just want to know how to #define the reset pin in Arduino Ide

I'm guessing there but I think the lib uses that pin to reset the MFRC522 - so it would make sense if it's also connected to the physical reset pin so that when you reset your arduino, you reset the MFRC522

but you don't want you arduino to auto-reset if the lib resets the module, so I'd be tempted to pick up a digital pin, set it as an output and wire it to the module's reset pin and that's it, not mess with the reset pin of your Leonardo and give it a try...

that's a guess - so don't take my word for it

Thank you JML,it works! You are right,it makes no sense to reset arduino when rc522 resets.
