Super simple switch/case... not working as intended?

JimboZA:

I do that by removing all comments so my code is easier to read,

I'm out....

Comments make your code easier to read.

hah,

no offense : ) I get that this is your board :stuck_out_tongue: /work hard to keep it good

ah, I didn't get that, sorry... I could see how that would suck if people were trying to copy/paste/use it in the IDE

and I was just saving time with "confirmed working every step of the way with serial reads"
rather than making my "simple" post longer : p

oops on that one, Feel Free to delete guy,

have a great night! I'll get better because of this!

so if "incomingByte" is of type int, I would not expect a switch statement where one
of the cases is 'w' to work in a predictable and reliable way.

The behaviour of this is probably defined somewhere, but not necessarily easy to find.

I don't
understand
why
your
code
keeps running across
the page. Did any
of the examples
you copied from do
that?

One statement per line of code.
Use Tools + Auto Format before posting code/snippets.
Simple things that make your code easy to follow.

Jack777:
What does any of that have to do with programming?

powerwheels or drill motors, 30a max, No since this drives a MOSFET H bridge with capacitors for EMF smoothing.

I ONLY don't have the code working : (

it works on the other 4 applications I've used that copy/pasted code QQ

We're not mindreaders. I thought you may be trying to draw too much current from the Arduino for the motors to turn.
