Support for external USB Drive

Is it possible to use an external USB drive (USB 2 compatible) for file storage with a Yun? I'm thinking of having a Yun as a inexpensive, albeit slow, NAS device (the Linux side, naturally) using netatalk. I have not found an example using an external drive which makes me think the answer is 'no'.

It's possible and it will work just as when you plug in an SD card. Only thing to remember: yun can NOT power an external usb drive. Use a externally powered usb drive
