SURFACE GRINDER MACHINE - AUTOMATIC Z WITH ARDUINO

Hello people,

i have an idea to automate my surface grinder machine in Z axis, i have practically all components for this but i dont have experience in programming.

I can put my stepper motor to rotate and some else simple examples on the net, but i need help for this project in programming.

Can anybody help me to make the program

Sorry this is a little off topic, but I love these old machines. We've got a similar Jones & Shipman at work for sharpening our punch tooling. Ours also has a manual Z axis, and would certainly be easier/nicer to use if it was motor driven, even if not controlled by an Arduino.

Good luck with your project.

Ian.

If you want someone to write the program for you for a fee you should ask in the Gigs and Collaboration section of the Forum.

If you want help writing the program yourself this is the correct place.
You should start by learning how to write Arduino programs. There are many examples with the Arduino IDE (the programming system) and there are many on-line tutorials.

You will also get a lot of useful information by reading as many Forum Threads as you can.

You may find some useful stuff in

ian332isport i will post in another forum, thanks a lot.

Robin2 in this moment i learning with tutorials, but in this moment i need some help to acelerate the process :))

Thanks
