Hello all
I have already created a PCB with Fusion 360 and I want to create the polygons and the traces as copper on the PCB.
Have any of you an idea how to do this with Fusion 360?
Thanks and best regards
Those elements are already copper. You meant that you want them to not be covered in the green (or whatever color the silkscreen applies).
You should be able to draw shapes and mark up items in the paste or the mask area to indicate that those items/areas will not have solder mask and/or have solder paste applied instead (tin coating I believe)
ALTERNATIVELY, you can create custom footprints (or load default pads footprints) with surface-mount pads in whatever desired shapes you want and put them on the board.
Since usually the reason for exposed copper is to solder components to it, it probably makes more sense to do the latter. Unless it is not strictly for mounting component (e.g. attach EMI shielding), then I think a cut in the solder mask should do fine.
