Sustainable Mobility

Hi everyone, can u help me by commenting some innovative ideas about sustainable mobility from the problems that u could face in ur everyday life or from ur experience, and thanks for ur help

If sustainable mobility is the same as perpetual motion, Both my Grandfather and Father worked on it and found no solution.

I don't know what "sustainable mobility" is... Maybe an electric car (or scooter) charged from solar? Or charged from hydroelectric power? Or a sailboat?

Learn to spell, as spelling must be exact in programming. If you can't spell, you can't code.

Are "y" and "o" so hard to reach?

You're welcome.

it was midnight in my country and I was tired so I didn't pay attention to my way of writing but if you want a full sentence in normal english there you go

no sustainable mobility like new solutions and creations that could prevent problems in transport or upgrading the means of transport in a less polluting way possible or by using renouvable energies

I would suggest to pull transport to the public side, and more on rails as this is much more efficient, and you don't need batteries or tanks. (I know that it is in the USA and a lot of other countries different. But in Europe, or Belgium at least, has almost every rail a power line on top) Try to demotivate people to use the car and make public transport more accessible.

I have done an assignment recently about the relation between the price (not the subsidy but ticket prices) and punctuality of public transport. The conclusion was that public transport that is almost always right on time, cost up to 3 to 5 times more than similar transport companies, but with a higher average delay or cancellation of rides. It is as an individual really irritating if your train is too late again, but if is surprisingly more effective if you compare it to the whole society.

I would suggest that it is also more important to have a lot of routes also to remote places (as in 'remote' in Belgium, that means 20km fields and then the next village or villages where live less than 500 persons) than have your transport always on time.
I don't know where you're from, but I've noticed that trams are really an underrated means of transportation in many countries. And planes obviously overrated.

To prove this a bit: I read yesterday that the Eurostar has transported a bit less than 20 million people in 2023. Travelling with the Eurostar is a pleasure, you have to be only 15 minutes in advance, travel at a speed of 350km/h and are at your destination before the plane has taken off. It is also a lot more comfortable, and if you buy at the right moment, a lot cheaper. (That is only if you buy at the right moment, I have travelled once where my family bought there ticket 2 weeks before me, and they paid a little over €100 for economy, and I paid €18 for business, I thought it was a glitch, but there are often some chairs that are cheaper if the train is almost full)

A last thing I would do, is to encourage goods transport on rails and inland waters a lot more. This makes sure that roads aren't full of trucks.

So I would suggest trains, for the long term too, don't try to do funky with Hyperloop's and stuff, (although, a promising and super cool project) because they are too expensive and require a whole new network. Just add to the existing network. Long and short term.

That is my vision.

Look, I have a lot of respect for you, all the brilliant solutions, almost immediate responses, etc. But I have noticed that your comments are getting passive-aggressive recently. I am not giving criticism, just a small point to improve to make the forum a better place for everybody. I know that some questions are asked already and people don't read the previous topics, but even these people are stuck and genuinely need help. And not everybody has English as their first language (including me), but they try, please don't kill them because of a simple spelling mistake.
