Switch Decision Help

Hello,

I need a switch that when physically triggered with robot arm it cuts the power of a 12v circuit for 1 or 2 seconds then it goes back to normal again.

Anyone can help me find a switch for that?

Thank you

Google time delay switches. Commonly used for example to turn on a light with a button for a period then turn off. You would need to "invert" the function but that only needs a small relay or transistor.

Thankyou

Note that most time delay relays are usually pretty expensive since they are used for old-school industrial circuits. You can find programmable timers pretty cheap on Alibaba. I used to sell those through my website.

Building your own time delay switch with an arduino clone would be a useful project. Many of these time-delay relays were also controlled by basic 555 timer circuits.

Thank you. I found some programmable timers.

Can your robot's controller not do that?

What controller?

Anyway, all is good. All working.

I don't see how to flag the topic. You do it.

looks like you figured it out.
