Switched 120V outlet controlled from 2 inputs

I'm trying to do something that should be very straight forward. There may already be a module that nothing has to be done to it to do what I want arduino or something else even. I could do it with a series of relays and diodes, but don't really want to have the bulk.

I am ultimately wanting to power a fan that is either turned on by a motion sensor or a remote control.

I am almost sure that none of the off the shelf devices would like voltage coming backwards to an open circuit on the other switching source - especially when using ICs.

Before you do anything else...
Identify & purchase a mains-certified relay board, and enclosure to adequately isolate the mains voltage from the incidental world of fingers, children, pets and the environment.

The decide how you want to control it.

What you’re asking is trivial with an Arduino.
Perhaps forget the relays to start - switching LEDs until you get the logic right.
Then add the insulated relay module once it’s working.

If you need help on the first step, give it your best shot, post that here, and we can help you move forward.

On aliexpress this is totally enclosed and controlled by WiFi.

I have not seen Arduino support yet, but I just found this recently.
