Symbol Table

Hi.

I’m working on a project with multiple .cpp files and custom classes. I’ve attempted to save RAM (Target Board == Uno), by moving as many character string constants as possible to Flash. However, the RAM usage being reported by the verify process is still ~2X what I can account for with the remaining global and static variables. So, I was wondering if there are any options I can use in the compile / link process that will generate a human-readable Symbol Table (with actual variable names from my source files) so I can see how the RAM usage adds up.

Thanks.

Have you kept all the constant strings out of RAM with the F macro?

Yes

Will this in some way help? https://arduino.stackexchange.com/questions/31190/detailed-analyse-of-memory-usage

Thanks.
