I am trying to get a Synaptics (presumably) PS/2 touchpad hooked up to an arduino, but I am unsure of the pins on it. At the end of this thread:

...is where I posted pictures and everything. I am unable to find this model on the internet, or at least documentation for it. It came from a Dell Inspiron 1100 laptop.

Please do not post things twice/post links to questions on other posts...
Touchpads can vary massively from one to the other so unless someone can find a datasheet then it will just be trial and error to find the pinout...
Synaptics are usually just generic PS2 so your assumptions are probably correct on what pins there are on it.

Ok. This post can be removed; I have discovered the pinout. I re-posted it because I realized the thread I posted in was 'dead'.
