Talking to a Sony CD changer

I have a CD changer made by sony and it uses the UniLink protocol, however I'm not sure how to connect it to an arduino and program it in a way the changer understands. My goal is to tell it to start playing a CD in slot 1. I found a website that explains some things although I'm a beginner around here so I hope I can get some help from the forums!
