Talon Speed Controller

Hi,
I am building a robot using meccanum wheels driven by Talon Speed Controllers. I found this old topic here and I followed the example code there using the Servo library.

However when I run the code using the Servo library the motors go full speed forward then full speed reverse. I tried changing the values however it dowsn't appear to make any difference to the speed of the motors.

Can anyone suggest what else I should be doing?
