Digging in bin I've found some drivers. 2 are labelled TB6600, 2 are without labels, likely Ebay stuff. Google on TB6600 shows pictures of the not labelled ones. 1 picture..
The info on those ones is faulty. Look at the currents 2.8 and 3.5 Amps. They are coded the same..... More things being wrong?
The (older?) TB6600 raises the question where the GND to the logic is found... 2 pictures.
There is no logic ground, because the inputs are opto couplers.
You can ground the - of an input, and have a positive pulse/voltage on the corresponding + input,
or connect the +input to VCC, and have a negative pulse on the - input.
Leo..
Two things have been cleared.
The label for 2.8 Amp is misprinted. Likely that's the reason to be sold from China for a low price. The correct setting is OFF, OFF and ON.
The erroneous overstepping of the stepper motor disappeared replaced the banged up 24 volt Banggood pwr supply to a known and reliable Banggood 12 supply...
