TB6600 ENA- connected example?

Hello everyone,
I am currently using an example stepper motor code that has ENA+ connected to power and ENA- unconnected and it doesn't make mention of it in the code. I am curious how it works and if I can implement it into my project, but I can not seem to find an example that uses it. If anyone could share some code that utilizes this feature, id love to take a look and see what I can learn about it.

Connecting ENA+ to 5v may be sufficient to enable the driver. It may only be necessary to connect ENA- to the Arduino if you want to be able to disable the driver with software.
