hi,
i need help for a project. i need to monitora serial trasmission and send the data to the PC (serial data from TCM320 but it is not important). i can connect direcly the Tx pin of tcm to Rx pin of Arduino 2 then collect the data and send it back to the USB port (with serial monitor of IDE)?
Arduino 2?
That's the "Due", not "2".
The Due is a 3V3 device with only low output currents - what voltage is your TCM320? If 5V you'll
need some sort of level shifting (possibly in both directions depending on the VIH of the
TCM320)
Due is 2 in Italian.
In fact, DUEmilanove stands for 2009.
But yea, it sounds weird to call it Arduino 2, I supose the Tre is three?
Op, yes you can collect data using Arduino as an intermediary.
I've never (in 5 years) seen the Uno called 1 or one, and till now not see the Due called 2 or two.
Arduino 1.0.x and 1.5.x refer to the IDE versions, as will 2.0 at some point.

Neither have I, then again I'm not Italian(don't know about the OP). If I was then I would read/hear Arduino Uno as Arduno 1 and Arduino Due as Arduino 2.
