temp and door switch logger

Hi. I am very new to Arduino, and pretty blank in programming. However I have a project as following.

I have a refrigeration plant, with one cooler room area and one freezer room.

I need to measure the temperature in these two areas, and store it. Simultaneously I need to log wherever the doors into these two rooms are open or closed.

I have a Arduino One, two temp sensors, door switches, an RTC, and a storage module.

Could anyone help me out?

What you mention sounds perfectly feasible.

Have you written any program yet? if so please post it and tell us what it does and what you want it to do that is different.

What do you mean by "storage module"

Hi all.

I have not written any programs yet on my ow, just been through some of the starter kit programming. By storage unit i meant a SDHC card storage unit. holds 32 GB.

Time to get started then

Begin by writing short programs to learn about each part of your project on its own - measure temperature, identify the state of doors and write data to an SD Card.

Only when you can do each part separately should you try “joining” them together.
