Temp sensors

Hi.
Has any one used a TMP36GT9 Low Voltage Temperature Sensors with arduino is there any special i need to do to use this sensor.

thanks chilliman

Shouldn't be a problem. Take an analog reading. Calculate millivolts (reading * 5000) / 1024). Divide by 10. Subtract 50. Result is degrees centigrade.

thanks very helpful

One thing you might do is check the packaging options. If you can get the TMP36 the way you want it, fine, but I wouldn't look at anything other than the DS18B20 for that sort of range. It's digital, which goes down well in this digital world, and it comes like this
