Testing transceiver using Arduino

How can I test a module with a transmitter And receiver using Arduino (module is working with serial communication TTL)

Hello siwarbsharat

Welcome to the worldbest Arduino forum ever.

This is a nice project to get started.

Keep it simple and stupid firstly.
Follow the example code that comes with the library or
run some tutorials for the hardware selected.
If you are happy with the results of the tutorials you can merge these to your project.

Have a nice day and enjoy coding in C++.

What "test(s)", exactly, do you want to run?

I want to see if the module (transmitter and receiver) is working and sending data as they mentioned in the parameters of it.
So how to test through Arduino and how to connect the two Arduinos each with transmitter or receiver at the first

Thank you
Yeah but how to connect the arduinos first with 2PCs each with a transmitter or receiver
And the code who to get it from library

Why do you need an Arduino for that?

Just connect to your PC, and use two serial terminals to see that what you send from one arrives at the other.

Can u please explain your idea more

And what if I want to test it to a long distance?

Hi,
What modules are you talking about?

Can you please post link to specs/data of the transceiver?

Thanks.. Tom.. :+1: :coffee: :australia:

how long a distance?
if you are using Bluetooth or WiFi could 10 to 20 metres
using LoRa could be hundreds of metres?
if using a GSM modems thousnads of killometres

Hello
It’s a normal data and video transmitter/receiver which includes a TTL data transmission and receiving

This descriptions way too unprecise to be helpful.
Of course a video-transmission systems does do some kind of "data"-transmission.
But there are dozens of different video-transmitting systems

  • different transmitter frequency (2,4 GHz or 5,8 GHz)
  • different input-signals direct camera input, VGA, DVI, HDMI

and video transmission requires a much higher bandwidth than transmitting some bytes
if the content that shall be transmitted is only 10 bytes or maybe 200 bytes this is almost nothing compared to transmitting a live-video

You must describe what you really want to do
do you want to do
transmitting 10 bytes to maybe 200 bytes?
or
do you want to transmit a moving live-picture of a video-camera

please post a datasheet of your transmitter-module
or at least a weblink where you bought the transmitter-module

post which exact type of arduino are you using?

additionally:
your english-knowledge seems to be limited.
I recommend that you use google-translate for asking questions.

What is your native language?

best regards Stefan

Doesn't help.

This is the module which I’m talking about and I want to test its data transmission using arduino mega

So how to?

Use a laptop and then take it on a 7km/15km walk.
