TFT 3.5 Touchscreen not working

Hello everyone,

This is my first post in arduino community, i received today a TFT 3.5 Touchscreen, and i started by downloading libraries like mcufriend and adafruit gfx and lcd.

The lcd itself is working perfect but the touchscreen is in unknown condition?!

Can anyone help me and how to calibrate, because i still cant understand how it does that, and its giving back id something and here when i try to calibrate.

21:00:14.782 -> TouchScreen.h GFX Calibration
21:00:14.782 -> Making all control and bus pins INPUT_PULLUP
21:00:14.850 -> Typical 30k Analog pullup with corresponding pin
21:00:14.885 -> would read low when digital is written LOW
21:00:14.954 -> e.g. reads ~25 for 300R X direction
21:00:14.988 -> e.g. reads ~30 for 500R Y direction
21:00:15.023 -> 
21:00:15.023 -> MISSING TOUCHSCREEN
21:00:15.532 -> ID = 0x6814

Thanks for the link. The screen in the photos has a Touch Panel and they supply a plastic stylus.
The advertised screen should work 100% with all the MCUFRIEND_kbv examples (except 320x240 UTFTGLUE demos)

Please compare all the photos with the item on your desk.

  1. is the screen glass cracked ?
  2. does the screen have a gold stripe around the perimeter with 4 terminals at the bottom left hand corner ?

Nothing is broken, Everything is fine about the glass
yep it has those 4 stips

Unplug the shield. Measure the resistance with a DMM. e.g. between LCD_WR pin and LCD_D6, LCD_D7, LCD_D0, LCD_D1 in turn.

Repeat with LCD_RS pin and LCD_D6, LCD_D7, LCD_D0, LCD_D1 in turn.
Repeat with LCD_CS pin and LCD_D6, LCD_D7, LCD_D0, LCD_D1 in turn.

Report back with the values that you find. i.e. if between 200 ohms and 2000 ohms

I dont have a DMM or a multimeter, i will try to grab one tommorrow

The TouchScreen_Calibr_native.ino example sketch should diagnose the Touch pins correctly on a Uno or Mega.
