Mornin' . Can someone pls tell me how to display a .mp4 file on TFT? i want it to show all the SD files, prompt me to select, and play the selected video. Thank you so much!
What is going to do the .MP4 decode?
Sure, get one of the latest Raspberry Pi's, install a suitable brand of Linux onto it, hook up the TFT and use a media player to play video. Apparently it helps if you convert .mp4 to .h264 which is natively supported by the Pi.
I Cant upload Debian on my uno because my uno barely has 1gb memory. can i put on sd and tell arduino to run?
I dont use raspberry pi. i use arduino.

Go and get a Raspberry Pi if you want to play movies. 
Now actually, it will be substantially easier to go and buy a mobile phone, as it already has the screen built in.

I mean, we occasionally get some Tigger-ish member who bounces in and says they're going to build a supercomputer out of networked ATTinys, driving a bit-banged 4K HDMI display.
Next day, they're going the solve the Reimann Hypothesis using damp string and tinfoil.
And next day, something else, at another tangent
Turns out they're trying out buzz-words they heard in the playground.
And I mean a real playground, not the old section of the Arduino website.
