Thats it, i wanna know >=\

Who Hates Me Here?
Who wants me to stop posting!?!?
Who are You!
AND WHY >=\

AND WHO KEEPS FLAMING MY FORUMS >_>

look, its cause of posts like this that some are unhappy with your presence on this forum... i personally want everyone to drop this whole thing, but for them to do that, you are going to have to just have to follow some basic "rules" or whatever that people have mentioned to you over the past month or whatever that you have been here...

so no one hates you
and no one wants you to stop posting, just stop posting useless posts... which is why they are "flaming" (its really them trying to help you and the community)

I guess i am one of those who might be considered when the topic arises of 'hating' you.
Well, to make one thing clear right from the beginning. I guess noone here, not even me, hates you - in fact, if you look closely you will notice that our constant debates here (see Forum Etiquette, the open letter and various answers to your own posts) just aim at the one target to show you how to behave in a community like this.

To just tell it to you once and not in a broad hint i might summarize it like the following:

  1. Stop using leet talk and try to have a look upon your own posts before you submit them.
  2. Dont make for every small thing a new posting. Try to read more than to write. I know asking for help is easier than doing some searches, especially with this (honestly) crappy forum search, but try it.
  3. Behave. Dont behave as a little child. We all know that you are most certainly the youngest member here - but that doesnt mean that you can do what you want. This community is about giving and taking and every member participates in the most useful way. So if one is just taking and more or less ignoring everything else that is a part of the community its clear why people begin to be rude.. also i know that you cannot actually help all too much without having some knowleadge yourself, but if you read carefully you will find one or another question that you might already be able to answer...

Finally let me make that clear - noone here hates you, it's just that you managed in quite a few weeks to piss of several people here which leads to a tension towards you. If you try to be a better part of the community i can assure you that most of us will finally begin to be more polite towards you...

Lemie show you people somthing >_>

See the post for yourself

For those who don't want to create an account over there to read the message it says this:

Thanks for
not posting on arduino.cc anymore
. I assume you've gotten the hint. I'll stop spamming your fourm now, as long as you don't go back to doing what you were doing.

Thanks!

Have a great day!

BTW - don't try and ban me. It won't work.

Which I think is pretty unacceptable, especially anonymously.

Having said that you did need to restrain yourself a bit - your previous habit of posting random stuff in other people's discussion threads was impolite and made the discussion board less useful for everybody.

Andrew

I don't think anyone here hates you. But you are on an adult forum, so you need to behave like one. Being 11 years old is not an excuse for bad manners.

IMHO you know EXACTLY what you are doing. Running around, bumping your own threads with worthless posts, hijacking other people's posts, being a drama queen, posting to threads you know nothing about...

You want our respect? Read. Don't post. Just read. If you have something to say, try and make it comprehensible, and for the love of god, stop using those stupid emoticons.

You also might want to talk to someone about you limited attention span (mom, teacher, school councilor, ect) - although, maybe a 30 second attention span is normal for a 11 yo.

There is a room full of people here giving you good advice trying to help you out - but somehow I don't know if you are mature enough to take any of it and use it.

In short - shut up, read more, post less

what does an individual need to do to get banned around here?

kevin duino has done more than enough IMO.

the idea is that this is a super-open community, in every sense of the word...

no need to ban him, we just have to make sure he begins to act appropriately... and anyways, he has like 4 accounts now, banning wont stop him from making another one (unless we can ip ban... can we?)

Can I politely suggest, unless you have something really constructive to add that people please just let the thread die in peace and not comment further?

I can't help thinking there must be some Arduinos looking on forlornly.

Thanks.
