Here is how to fix it:
(1) go down to the local electronics shop and ask them for some "BlueSmoke"
(2) wrap the chip up in some tin foil and insert the blue smoke.
(3) leave it to seep in for a good couple of hours.
(4) In the mean time pop down to your hardware store and buy a new lawn mower
(5) You now have a working lawn mower.
