The circuit are not working well

Problem:
The connection in the circuit is not working well because the picture that we are referring is not clear. So can you help us by telling us the right pin we should use to connect the transformer.

Not sure exactly what you are asking, but that looks like a transformer with probably a 6-10 volt output feeding a bridge rectifier which is then feeding a regulator. The most obvious thing I see is the input side of the regulator (output from the bridge) should have a filter capacitor on it. Look up the data sheet for the regulator you are using (I assume that is what it is) and it should show typical values for the capacitors.

I am sorry, we are beginner and doing our last final project for AUTOMATIC LAMP AND CURTAIN.. we are using this for the project :

  1. Arduino UNO R3
  2. USB Cable A-B for Arduino
  3. Transistor - 2N2222 (NPN)
  4. 5mm - LED Yellow colour
  5. Diode -1N4001
    6 )L293D Dual H-Bridge
  6. 4mm LDR Light Sensor
  7. 1/4W Resistor
  8. DC Motor 3V Long Shaft
  9. Tranformer 12V

So, our problem is we are not sure the part of the pin to connect with Arduino and also the connection between the component because the picture given are not so clear, then we didn't know the right pin for the component.

I can't tell just what is what in that picture. If possible, go back and get a clear picture at least or a schematic (even better) of what is going on. I assumed the 3 terminal device after the bridge was a regulator, but I guess from what you say that is a transistor? I can't tell from that how the Arduino is powered either - if you wire it wrong, you will kill it. It either needs 5v fed to the 5v bus on the card or 7-12v into the regulator on the card. First thing though is get a better image or schematic of what you are trying to wire up there.

So according to the circuit, the positive output from the bridge rectifier connects to the emitter of the 2N2222 NPN transistor, the base connects to ground and the collector is the positive output. (Facing the flat side of a 2N2222 TO-92, the pins left to right are E B C.)
Without even beginning to consider the rest of the circuit, that part cannot do anything useful and will most likely only kill the transistor. The rest is all too blurry to see anyway, but the point that I just mentioned indicates that this circuit is rubbish.
(Fritzing diagrams are crap anyway - a schematic diagram is much more informative.)

As gpsmikey points out, it would make far more sense if the 3-pin device was a linear regulator, not a transistor, but the circuit is still useless without a reservoir cap on the rectifier bridge output, and then a clearer picture or, even better, a schematic diagram.
