I don't care that you can pick up $3 pro minis.I for one like the 84, and would like to try out the 87 and 167. On the larger scale, I'll eventually be playing with a mega644rfr2.
A definitive tiny core would be wonderful.
Of course it would(!) ...but once you start down that road you need to realize:
a) The core might not exist
b) It might be YOU who has to create that "definitive" core.
Or... you can bite the $3 Pro Mini bullet.
$3 Pro Minis aren't intellectually perfect, but they work.
