My IDE and Win 10 work fine for my Uno. I want to program a new pro mini with an FTDI USB to serial converter. Going to Tools, ports, fails. It only offers com5. Did Win 10 lock it? Serial ports does not work. Must I reload the IDE?
Try locating the FTDI in device manager.
Tried loading lots of drivers. Will now try the device mgr. Thank You,
