the minimum value of delay that can be put among switching analog input pins

Dear Sirs,

I need to read the value of the five potentiometers during the analog inputs pin of the Arduino. So, what is the minimum value of delay that can be put among switching analog input pins for giving the ADC a chance to stabilize? ( I need to monitor the change in potentiometer value in a minimum intervals)

Thank you and I am looking forward for your reply.

No delay. Just read the pot twice, and use the second value. Leo..

Thank you but can you enplane more ?

pot2Value = analogRead(pot2Pin); // first read could have some ghost charge of the first pot pot2Value = analogRead(pot2Pin); // second read overwrites the first one // action here

A 100n cap from pin to ground also helps, especially if pot value is >10k. Leo..
